THE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF X-FITNESS
The main difference between the X-FITNESS system and existing fitness systems is that we combine workouts with mental training, which helps you reduce stress and reset your mind.
Another unique feature of our system is that our exercises are designed in such way that you are getting a complete workout. This means that you train all your muscles, you improve your flexibility, you train your balance, and you are getting a good cardio training. As opposed to traditional fitness systems, when they usually focus on one or two of these elements at a time, when we offer a comprehensive approach.
Here are the basic principles of the X-FITNESS system:
THE 3-POINTS PRINCIPLE
Each exercise consists of a sequence of movements, which is called a cycle. Each cycle is performed on 4 counts - to the rhythm of the drum beat. In each cycle, on the count of 1-2-3 you gradually move from the starting point to the final point. On the count of 4, you return to the initial position.
With the gradual type of movements the intensity of the workout is increased slowly, without sudden moves and overreaching. This allows you carefully test your limits in each movement, which prevents you from possible muscle strains and injuries.
WORKING WITH IMAGINARY RESISTANCE
All movements in our exercises are based on the principle of working with an imaginary resistance. Imagine that you are surrounded by an invisible large and resilient mass. And that you need to move it away or squeeze between your hands. This is actually why you need to apply the 3-ponts principle.
Because in each point you consistently push the resilient object further and further. And due to the springy nature of this imaginary mass, it pushes you back, so in each point you have to slightly pull your hands back. As a result, your movements become springy, which again helps prevent injuries.
ENGAGING THE ENTIRE BODY
Since the imaginary resistance is springy, when you are trying to push it away, your movements should be springy as well. You're not hitting an imaginary object, you're gently pushing it. And you need to do this not only with your hands, but you should engage your entire body. This way you involve more muscles into each movement, therefore your workout becomes more efficient.
CONSTANT LEG WORK
Working out your legs is one of the main principles of our X-FITNESS system. In all exercises your legs are constantly moving up and down through performing light springy squats to the beat of the drums. The leg work is combined with swaying the body from side to side.
The squatting should be very light, as if you were dancing. Since you move non-stop through the entire workout, you get the required cardio training. This also helps you keep the consistent pace of your exercising.
STRESS RELIEF AND MIND TRAINING
The important principle of our fitness system Xitonia is that the body training is integrated with training of the mind, which helps reduce stress, and reprogram your consciousness to achieve certain tasks.
When you perform rhythmic movements to the beats of a drum, you enter a state of a light trance. In this state you can convey your wishes to the higher powers (whatever is meant by that). Before starting your workout, we suggest to think about the problems you want to solve or the goals you want to achieve, and formulate your wish in a simple phrase for 4 counts. For example, "I - want - to be - healthy". Then you can repeat this phrase during your workout (in your head, or out loud).
